Work ramblings

It's kind of a frustrating thing with me now. I've found out that I'm not very fond of production-like jobs. Granted it consists of sitting in front of a computer 8-9 hours a day, but it gets rather frustrating. Long story short, I draw boxes around items on a flier page. Our division puts retail fliers online(hence my division is called I20 " ( Read more... )

"Interesting that after you leave a place you find out it wasn't so bad."

Yeah, that definitely happens sometimes.

Sorry to hear things aren't going so well. I'm not sure what to tell you since you don't feel you can leave until your year is up there.

Can you talk with your boss to see outright if he can help you improve your productivity, or is it just the job in general that's just boring and you don't really care for?

I know what you mean about friends at jobs. To this day, one of my all time faovrite jobs I've ever had was also one of the lowest, when I was just in high school. But the friends I had there and the time we had, was stuff that you remember 10 years later.

I'm sure 'this too will pass'. I was just having a difficult time last night. I hate coming in to work already tired cause my productivity really lacks on them nights. Always going over my work 2 or 3 times to make sure I didn't miss anything. I'm actually starting a new waking/sleeping pattern. I've started staying up until about 5:30 am and sleeping all day. Them evenings at work seem to be going a little better. We'll see how things go.

I'll eventually talk to my boss about it. See how things go with my new sleeping pattern.

I definitely relate to that feeling where you're fine with your job, and you might even actually be happy with it...if other people would just leave you alone and/or show you a little respect and let you do your thing ( ... )

Next time he lashes out again, I'm definitely going to have to say something to him and/or my boss. It's one thing to correct somebody, but it's definitely something else to belittle them.

Sorry about the boss. It's one thing to have a squaff with a coworker, but another thing to have one with your boss. Maybe we can tell them both to go have some dip and not be the dip! Okay enough with the potato chip humor.
