Thank you! I have this whole backstory in my head for Steve that I'm not sure is going to make it into the story: he's a WWI vet, in the Navy since he was just a kid, and he came back to shore to avenge his father's death and take over the family business--rumrunning. I figure he would be ratty, given the life he's lived!

And hopefully you won't have to wait too long for Danny because he is demanding to be in chapter two. :)

Oh, goodness, I love this so much! I especially love that it's from Kono's point of view. And you're setting this up so beautifully; I love the descriptions of Steve and his suit, Jenna and her trousers and shirt, and how Kono looks at the world, so sharp and observant and smart.

I cannot wait to read more of this. ♥
