So far this has been a pretty bitchen weekend. Last night, I went bowling with a bunch of people from school. It was so much fun. Look, I know we don't talk much, but I must intervene. I lived on the Eastside for just over ten years, the majority of those years spent in Kirkland. I left for a reason: it sucks. There is nothing "super-hip" about Kirkland. Anything even moderately hip about Kirkland can be found in greater quality and concentration in Seattle--plus all the Park & Rides you could ever want.

You would mind moving there. Trust me.

Kirkland's not that bad. But calling it "super-hip" does make me laugh out loud.

It's a generic 'burb like any other in the Seattle area, and if you need to pick a 'burb, Redmond is much cooler.

I don't know much about the greater kirkland area, but the little downtown part we went to was fun.

Well, unless you're a trendy cafe or an art gallery, you wouldn't be in that little downtown area.

The little downtown area is just that: little. For the price of living in that little area, you might as well have a nice place in Seattle. Transportation is so much easier, too.

Psst...it's Seahawks. Not two words, not hypenated, not random capital letters. Just Seahawks.

Psst...we won. It was awesome. I hope you watched the game, even though you're state fer-igners....

See my latest post for my opinion on the matter.
