Well, my iPod almost died last night. I was listening to music as usual and became disinterested with the Sailor Moon song that had come up on shuffle, so I tried to skip to the next song. I was going to post this last night, but my connection went out. On Wednesday night, I finally got tired of the scroll wheel on my mouse not working correctly. Well, I just reinstalled Mac OS again. I had installed a distributed computing program (BOINC) from Berkeley and was processing a package of the sulphur cycle from ClimatePrediction.Net, which had been weighing pretty heavily on my system. I've done a few strange things with my iPod, but none of them were very interesting (besides the obvious usefulness of the dictionary). I can boot Linux if I want to see a nice picture of Tux using an iPod, and then I get a really bad clone of Apple's interface (granted, I haven't yet tried the alternatives). Okay, first an update. I have a sinus infection, which kept me out of class on Thursday and Friday. I'm taking giant 875mg Amoxicillin tablets for it now, and I should be done with it in a few days. Now I just have to make up for what I missed...
