i havent had time to read all of them yet, but i must say i LOVE the buddha on the subway one. its something i find myself doing automatically when im in a good mood, but i dont do it nearly enough, nor do i make enough of a conscious effort to do so. i think i'll start.

im actually in the middle of Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind right now, among other things. any good english major-y buddhist themed literature you'd recommend? i need some inspiring fiction in my life right now. haha. too long now have i spurned my former lover, the novel.

i just finished the dharma bums, and it was incredible. i def recommend it. also, if you haven't read siddhartha (altho you prob have) i def recommend that too. both of them are on my favorite books list, which is a pretty small list. also, the tao of pooh is on my reading list, i've heard good things about it. oh, also, zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance is a good one. its a pretty deep read.
