Mandy came down to eat and saw a spot open across from Terry. She quickly walked down and sat across from her, "Hey Terry."

She then noticed his face was upset and frowned adn reach across to touch his arm, "Hey what's up?" She didn't have a feeling it was the exams.

Dad moved all my crap into the other house," Terry opened up, rather unexpectedly. "Just a bit more real now, you know?"

He looked over at the girl who was arguably his best friend.

Mandy felt her eyebrows raise at this news. She hasn't expected him to say that. Seh gave his arm a squeeze, "Aw Terry I'm sorry. I can't believe he just told you like that."

She had been there for Terry hen hewent through everything and knew how different it was for him to go through that. "I'm here for you."

He gave her a small, yet appreciative smile. "Thanks Mandy, I know that. Just a bit unexpected, I suppose. They're really jumping into things."

Luna wandered into the Great Hall; her eyes immediately going to Gryffindor table, but when she realized that none of her friends seemed to be there, she sought her own table. Most of the people eating at the table tended to stay away from her whenever possible, so she decided to let them be.

Just as she was preparing to head over to Gryffindor to eat alone, she spotted Mandy and Terry. A smile spread across her face and she skipped over and squeezed in next to Mandy, causing a third year girl to have to move down which caused a chain reaction of several people moving down one seat.

Luna didn't notice the huffs of annoyance from her housemates though. Terry seemed aggravated and Mandy seemed concerned.

"It's the Higglypunes isn't it?" She said knowingly, looking at Mandy.

Mandy willingly moved so Luna could fit in and smiled. Luna was always someone Mandy could get along with. Many in her house and in the school found Luna's antics to be silly and childish but she found them interesting. And who is to say that maybe she really was right, and Mandy was all for knowledge.

Mandy looked confused at Luna, "The Higglypunes? What are they? I never heard of them before."

"They're invisible creatures that nest in ones hair and use their magic to make people grumpy. They're what make your hair so shiny, but it's still a horrible thing to have. I know a remedy for them, but it's better to let them leave on their own." she said smiling distantly. "They'll be what's making Terry seem upset." She quarked her head thoughtfully. "Unless of course, he's just received bad news. But I think it's much more likely that the higglepunes go to him."

Luna reached over and picked up an apple just as she saw a flying pea hit a hufflepuff in the back of the head.
That's odd she thought.
Peas don't usually stick to people so well. There must be gaglepuffs around.

"Luna, I think you mean Hufflepuffs," Terry laughed lightly, unable to keep serious. "They're the ones that keep people grumpy... That and step-mothers." He ended his last thought on a serious note.

Draco was leaning over his plate, admittedly sore about his potion mishap. It must have been someone else!, he couldn't have made such a grievous error, so intimidatingly close to OWLs. The timing could not be any more impossible.

He forked about his sodding peas, deciding then to complain about something.

Two feet of parchment on Fanged Geraniums? Why now, is all I ask. He stabbed into a soggy pea and his fork hit the plate with a little bloodcurdling screech.

Harper slide into an empty seat at the Slytherin table as his stomach growled with hungry. He squinted his eyes and scanned the busy Great Hall.

Then he nudged Draco who seemed to be distracted with the latest parchment assignment.

"Watch this!" He raised his index finger and summoned a charm. The magic flew from Harper's finger tip causing one of the silver spoons to elevated. The charmed spoon than dipped down and picked up one of Draco's peas from the plate.

Daniel motioned his finger from side to side controlling the bewitched spoon. He then made the spoon arch back preparing it for fire.

"Ready, Aim, FIRE!" Harper yelled causing the the pea to fly from the silver spoon and hit a random Hufflepuff in the back of the head.

Snickering with laugher, Daniel sat back proud of his latest scheme.

Draco smirked in spite of himself, a cool little laugh bubbling up against his steely exterior. Susan Bones lifted her hand to the back of her head, unable to grab the pea but still swiveling about to see where it had come from. A couple of Hufflepuffs nearby her began buzzing with question, their eyes darting towards Slytherin.

They naturally ducked, effectively giving away their guilt more than not hiding would have.

The Hufflepuffs huffed and turned back around, not interested in a fight.

Still stuck in her hair. He chanced, and had to hide his laugh behind his fist.

Daphne watched silently, clearly distracted. She noticed Terry at the other table looking upset. It pained her not being able to sit with him or ask him about it.

Instead she sat here with Draco and Daniel as they flung peas at Hufflepuffs.

"Childish, really," she sighed, unimpressed by the flying food. "Draco you must have something more interested up your sleeve."
