Gathering the Team

The night air did little to calm Koromaru, but then, it was hard to think about being calm when one was about to combat the creatures they were. His blade felt thick in his mouth, but Koromaru was too full of anticipation to concern himself with it. He walked dutifully behind Matt and waited patiently while the former knocked on the door of one of their group.

The door opened to reveal Kazuki, her eyelids closed (though hidden by her bangs) and her walking stick in her hands. Somehow... she knew who was there. It's not like they were expecting anyone else. "Matthew, I presume?" she asked calmly, still in her school uniform, a ski cap on her head that kept her bangs down. She also had her schoolbag over her shoulder. Upon affirmation that it was her companion, she told her parents she would be back later before stepping outside, stick waving gently from side to side.

(So this is her, its a shame she's blind. She looks quite cute) Matt thought as he quickly stepped out of the way to let her through. "I've brought a companion along. I hope you're not allergic to dogs. His name is Koromaru. He'll be joining us today since he's a gifted dog, or cursed depending on your outlook on stuff like this" Matt cooly said while observing her,seeing if she could follow on her own or would it be better to have her hold koro by a leash...

Koromaru stepped out from behind Mattt and wagged his tail at the girl for a few beats. When she did not seem to respond, he barked softly to announce himself.

"Arf." [Its good to meet you, my name is Koromaru.]

It was for the sake of the introduction that Koromaru did not dwell upon Matt's statments. Regardless of whether or not their abilities were gifts or curses, they were going to use them...
