I don't think passionate's what I want to go for in a letter back home. B-but it's an excuse to get descriptive. It's hard to imagine what it was life, when this was the, ah, only way to get a message across a distance.

[It's not the most interesting place to look at, but it's pretty stuffed full of books. There's not only a fairly decent selection of classics and modern books from Japan, but quite a few translated, even some classics and new releases still in foreign languages.]
