Oh my gosh! I forgot about Shoneen's Contest >< Gah, and it's such an awesome prompt too! Should I or should I not...

Joseph Gordon-levitt! Ahh~ I love his bum XD He's going to be in Batman eh? Also, Ty Burell <3

Oooo Japan trip! I'm jelly~ Remember to eat lots of Japanese food! How long is the flight going to be? I remember flying from Toronto to Vancouver (3 hours of smelling chinese food from the guy next to me whilst I starved and tried to ration my bear droppings) and I was soooo uncomfortable in jeans and a sweatshirt. A dress can be really comfortable with the free moving, flowy thing, but you couldn't sit cross-legged in them. I vote for shorts!

I know the prompt is amazing, but I'm having a hell of a time with it b/c my brain is stuck in the angsty powers type place. XD It's going all over the place in my brain right now. I should just start writing it.

HIS BUM IS SO CUTE! It's nice. Like Nino's butt. OH! A fellow Ty Burrell fan? He's what I imagine what my husband would be like should we ever have children.

Total flight time between Virginia and Tokyo is about 20 hours. I'll have my Snuggie so I can hide and sit however I want in a dress I suppose, but still. It's a dress. Sighhhh. Yoga pants. I want to wear them. LOL

Angsty powers fic? Yes please! XD I can't decide if I wanna draw or write. Or both. Maybe a comic but I'm drowning in requests from a while back XD

Ahh! That's true! No wonder I liked his bum~ I was watching out for it in Inception lol
Ty Burell is probably my favorite from Modern Family (doesn't really mean much, actually. He's just a millimeter above everyone else) XD He's a cool dad!

20 hours egad >< I like dresses! Dresses are nice and pretty! Why not wear Yoga pants AND a dress? Be a fashion rebel!

I'm TRYING. Doesn't mean it's going to happen. Is it easier to draw things? Hell I'd draw if I had even a modicum of talent for that.

OMG. We need to be Modern Family BFFs like right now. No one else I know watches it like I do (i.e. on repeat), but that's me assuming you do the same. Whatever. YAY! The whole cast is amazing, but I agree with Ty being slightly higher than the rest. I have a girl crush on Sophia Vergara.

20 hours is fucking forever. I wonder what kind of movies they play. We'll see what happens. We're trying to decide when the best time would be to take our sleeping pills.

Fashion rebel hmm... I am going to Japan. Land of the fashion free!

*raises hand* I'm in Tokyo!

I am usually free on Wednesdays and on weekends so if one of those days matches your schedule, I would like to meet you. XD

AH! Someone in Tokyo! YAY!

On the first Wednesday we are there, we're scheduled to go to the Ghibli Museum at 1:05 which is sorta in the middle of our day. Since we have no tours set up, we're free on the weekend too. So perhaps we can arrange a meet up! I'll only have my iPod Touch for communication so do you use any messaging service or Twitter? It'd be easiest to get in contact that way.

My husband will be with me, but he'd welcome any insights into Tokyo. Take me on a tour! LOL Or suggest places anyway.

I'm not sure if I'll be a good tour guide since I haven't really explored Tokyo even if I've been here for 7 months already but we could be tourists together. I'm lianne329 on twitter and I'll send my email address via PM. Our university has a festival that weekend and we can check that out too.

Ooo!! A festival?! I know there is Sanja Matsuri supposedly that weekend. Is it the same?

Not explored yet? Let's go together then! XD

I'll find you on Twitter now and that way we can communicate easier when I'm there and I'll email you too! I'm lolita_iori on Twitter.

I've seen you talk about Japan before but OMG DUDE THAT IS SO CLOSE TO RIGHT NOW O_O Here's my thought: Take the tracksuit in your carry on? That way once you get upgraded, you can change. And if you don't get upgraded, you can still change XD comfy clothes AND the prospect of better seats!

WHAT ABOUT TOM HIDDLESTON THOUGH. I am desperately lusting for Loki, I'm not even kidding. I've been lusting for him since Thor And I totally didn't hunt down all kinds of movies with him in it and watch them in one night nor did one of them contain a nude scene or anything ANYWAY. *clearing throat* I'm hoping to see it in a week from today- it comes out in cinemas here on the 10th, so I'm going to call the second it hits theaters and reserve. I don't see any other way of getting tickets XD

BY THE WAY DID YOU KNOW THAT BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH IS GOING TO BE KAHN IN THE NEW STAR TREK /endspazz

tl;dr welcome back to LJ and I want to see many updates while you're in Japan! ♥

IT IS. I could take the pants as a carry on. True. I could also just wear leggings and keep the dress simple. Maybe a cotton dress? OHHHHHHH. As I type this I just recalled a dress that would work perfectly for travel. YES. This might work. I doubt upgrades will be possible tho. I really do.

Tom Hiddleston's hair has been terribly greasy looking to me for two movies now and I just can't. IDK why, but he reminds me of a little kid. XD I think it's the eyes. And naked you say?? Hmmm.

AND WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH???? His looks are so odd.

I plan to hopefully do a daily play by play of things we do in Japan. We'll see tho.

Lol it's not about the hair (although I would love it if he kept his hair straight and black, much better than blond curly that he sometimes wears). As for my taste in liking him- he's pale, dark hair, slender, perhaps a little effeminite, GEE I WONDER IF THERE'S A PATTERN HERE XD I like his features anyway (Jawline!) And then his voice. Which dear lord, just the voice...

For me Cumberbatch isn't an attraction, it's more of a "this guy is really freaking awesome". And again with the voice thing, his voice is amazing. The odd face is something that I definitely noticed but hey, I got used to Matt Smith XD so who knows? I'm just glad they picked him for Kahn, becauase I think he's going to be amazing, looks or no.

LOL Slender and effeminate... is Aiba effeminate? XD I've never pictured him as such. Tom does have lovely facial bone structure tho and those eyes are pretty, but that hair. Erlack. It's all about the hair.

I've never watched Sherlock so maybe one day I'll become interested in him as an actor. As for Matt Smith, I still haven't finished the Tennant years b/c I'm 3 episodes away from the end and I know what's going to happen and my emotions just cannot take it. I can't. LOL So I haven't had the chance to see Smith in action except the one episode he was in of Secret Diary of a Call Girl. I hate that bow tie tho.

Of course I remember you. You're probably just as m.i.a on LJ as I am. XDD

I plan on popping a nice blue sleeping pill and slumbering a good portion of my flight away. Already have my Snuggie and pillow ready.

Not alone! With my husband! We're considering it a one year anniversary trip even tho it won't be a year until June 18th.

I would rather be comfy than pretty/1st class! But I say wear something like a tunic top/dress that you either wear without leggings when you get to the airport, so at check in they can check you out! and then later put the leggings on in the plane! or just wear tunic/dress and leggings combo! Smart casual cardigan as well to keep you warm!!!

I think on our flight there, I'll see if my dressing nicely will get us anywhere. If it doesn't, then the flight back I'm wearing those damned yoga pants. IDC. LOL

I have a cotton dress that would be really comfy to wear on the plane and it's black and slimming. It's actually pretty sexy. XD Hopefully we run into male flight people. Will wear my leggings and short boots that are easy to take off at security too.

Hubby said we shouldn't take a lot of clothes since we'll prolly buy a lot in Japan. I'm way bigger than any average Japanese girl so it'll be touch and go if I want to even find clothing that'll fit me. Idk if my self esteem can take that risk.

hehe work the sexy black dress! :D

I think definitely leave lots of space for your stuff! It's true the clothing sizes are SMALL! Knowing that, I concentrated on shopping for either loose style clothing and accessories, jewellery, bags,..beauty stuff too!!!! Also I'm sure you might want to get some arashi merch while you're there too! That way I didn't feel too bummed out because I couldn't fit into clothes. My first trip I just bought one dress! (actually didn't do much shopping) think I was too busy looking at the tourist sites! but the second time I could chill out more!!

Oh definitely check out Donki while you're out there!! That's where I bought my Rilakkuma suit..haha! (that took up so much room in my suitcase though!)

I'll probably only look at the clothing if it's loose, but I'll most likely concentrate on accessories, purses, makeup, and shoes myself. Oh I want some shoes. LOL I'll definitely be buying up Arashi merchandise left and right. I hope it isn't hard to find idol shops in Harajuku. I plan to go to Johnny's store and buy all the Face Down shop photos. Just check all the boxes on the form. XD We'll be there for 10 days so it's a long time. I'm sure I can amass a ridiculous amount of merchandise in that time while looking at the sites.

Donki is so happening.
