DW doesn't support image hosting, which is Reason #1 why I'm still committed to LJ. The moment that changes though....

I seee..... I seeeee! Hm. Odd. That seems to be a critical thing for teh intarwebs to have in terms of fannish interaction. Although Tumblr is not at all for me, not at all. I can't have visuals with no content, at least not usually. I need to at least be able to click on something and go back to the SOURCE. (Who drew this? Where was this photo taken? How old is this? Was this from a film or what? Who posted this? How can I tell them I like their art/manip/photo/thingy? And so on.)

Well that's... so very un-modern of them.

It's kind of old-school in a way, and that does appeal right now. I wish I could x-post from LJ then I could just do photos photos photos, POST.

I'm very pro-Buffalo; I feel like a lot of its negative press comes from stale Johnny Carson jokes which have been accepted as cultural truth over the decades, combined with a funny name and a declining industrial economy. In an alternate universe where I didn't get the Mitchell-Lama apartment and then the job, M and I were serious about relocating there, and ironically, in the long-term plan, were scheduled to do it just about now, the exact time I am starting my finally-not-an-adjunct job ( ... )
