You are so funny! Yeah, the whole Let's Be Friends works better with some than with others. (I.e. women moreso than men). Then it requires time and effort to pursue so there really has to be something there. And I have lots of friends, so... yeah... new ones never hurt, but if it's annoying to see someone, I'm not really going to MAKE myself do it, y'know?

OH THIS COMPLICATED WORLD.

Buffalo has apparently improved...? I hear...? Anyway I won't be going there for the outdoor scenery if you know what I mean *wink wink*

*throws tomatoes*

Wow, it sounds like you're busy with the living life thing. I'm not really sure where Buffalo is compared to NYC, except vaguely away-ish.

It's quite far... east of NYC, on the border with Canada and near Pennsylvania. WACKY. 6 hour drive or thereabouts, according to the internet.

Oh life... I'm busy and I'm not you know? I feel busy busy, but when I try to say what I've done with my day I have literally no idea.

How are you gorgeous?

I just checked on google maps (which I should have done in the *first* place. I'm so lazy.) and the suggestion is that I *fly* (with oh so helpful links to booking my flight) rather than drive because yes, 6 hr 15! One way! That's like me driving to Disneyland. Which I hardly ever do, even when the kids whine about it.

Oh life... I'm busy and I'm not you know? I feel busy busy, but when I try to say what I've done with my day I have literally no idea.

Yes! I know that feel!

I am...fine? Getting older and living vicariously through my internet friends. *g*

Even if TB were still living in The Fun Capital instead of Buffalo, you wouldn't have 100% TB time because you'd need Other Folks Time anyway! So what with Skype and planned Due South runs for TB I think it'll all fit into the Gorgeous Mosaic.

I like your thinking! At least, I'm trying to like this whole positive thinking thing. And yeah, in some ways Buffalo is easier than Jersey City (I have it down to a science but still, it's a lot of work).

I was just wondering if you'd ever reappear here... weird.

I'll join you in the 'disappointed in Sherlock' camp. Season 3 screwed with everything I enjoy about it so much that I don't even know where to start with the fix-it fic. *crankyface*

And, holydoodle, but your social life is active! I am pleased that TB is still in the picture, and that you made an awesome friend to drink whiskey with ;) Short Guy sounds like too much work, especially if all you want is friendship. Starting a friendship should be exciting, not anxiety-filled. Also, if he can't separate the friendship aspect from his romantic/physical aspirations, I'm not sure that you'll get a very meaningful friendship from him in the long run (passive-aggressive resentment should not be a thing that friends do).

You think of me and I appear! Poof!

Yup, yup. I just ... didn't care anymore. I wouldn't know what to fix. I'm tired of Mr Clever Pants Moffat discarding sense and sensibility in favor of spectacle and wild plot cheese.

(passive-aggressive resentment should not be a thing that friends do). Yeah, that's some of it with SG. And he doesn't generate energy that I like to have between me and my friends/lovers/what have you.

Yay! They are settling down... not as exciting. But still fun to talk about occasionally! *smooch*
