Am I the crazy one?

Wow, The Crazy Ones. Unfunny and no characters of color, token or otherwise? Hm. IMDB also says it's supposed to be from the POV of the charming, smarmy good-looking white guy Zach. Even worse ( Read more... )

Honestly? I wound up *really* liking Sleepy Hollow, which I did not at all expect, in fact had to find it On Demand because I hadn't cared enough to know it was premiering -- I know you weren't impressed, though. Not honestly all that excited by the first episode of Agents of SHIELD (how come all but one actor of color were guest stars? Also, Skye had all these classic Joss lines but she just kind of powered through them instead of really delivering them), but will keep watching for awhile. Liking the new season of Haven because they have gotten out of their narrative rut, and Duke has something more to do, so my interest is revived. It is sad, however, that once Breaking Bad and Hell on Wheels finish up, that what I really want to watch is the Syfy show I got bored of two seasons ago ( ... )

You know, I liked the second ep of Sleepy Hollow much more. If I keep my expectations really, really low, I will probably enjoy it. It's *something* interesting, you know? Different?

SHIELD had a lot to offer but also had some flaws (J. August Richards should be a regular, duh!!!) I'll be watching, because Joss and Co.

I agree about Haven, yes. More Duke always good. That show always feels half a season too short, so I don't get overly excited about my Friday nights.

Downton! I am not sure what I want to do with that.. probably wait a bit and then mainline a few eps and hope for the best.

Thanks for sharing your menu!

Continuum, lalala Continuum.

Because I'm watching on Netflix I'm a season behind, so I inhaled the first three episodes of Homeland S2. Not terribly plausible but damn it's good TV.

Homeland IS good TV. No question. Completely implausible, but the actors deliver like it is.

I gave up on Continuum. It wasn't holding me. Rare for me to give up on a Sci Fi show, but there you are.

Did you try SHIELD?

Yeah, it got off to a slow start but by the end I was buying it for what it is. But considering how little I care about superheroes I'm not the target audience.

I feel your pain, *[ENDEARMENT REDACTED BECAUSE I JUST REMEMBERED THAT THEY CREEP YOU OUT]*.

Sadly, because I am a diehard Criminal Minds fangirl, I need to stick it out with that show despite it continually shitting the bed.

I am unexpectedly amused by Sleepy Hollow, and I am happily back on the Person of interest bandwagon for another season. I usually watch Big Bang Theory as well, but it isn't 'must-see tv' as I can watch it on demand. There are some mid-season replacements that I'm waiting on (Almost Human, Hannibal season 2), and I might delve back into Revolution in spite of its laughable science. Other than that, I live on a steady diet of NetFlix, BBC America, and weird DVD collections from my hipster video store.

U.S. Network tv is where fun goes to get gang beaten, robbed, and left to bleed out in an alley.

Perfect icon is perfect. I dithered a lot about giving up Criminal Minds but it really let me down, you know? Almost Bones level of let-down (okay not quite that bad).

I'm watching Sleepy Hollow, POI, Elementary, SHIELD and definitely on board for Almost Human, Hannibal, Grimm, and a smattering of series on other channels and other places. Guilty pleasure H5-O and Castle and the NCIS shows keep me busy while I multitask like crazy.
