Sorry if you're waiting on a reply, message, phone call, stalking from me. I'm now trying to process a bunch of test results that show I have Mono, anemia, hypo-thyroidism, a high risk for diabetes, a gene mutation making me unable to metabolize B vitamins and folic acid, and really low numbers on all kinds of important things like Vitamin D, K, B ( Read more... )

you're deficient, what to expect when you're alive

Er, virtual hugs are okay, yes? Seriously, hon, I hope you're only dealing with one or two of the things on the list...

My mom is here, yay! She is helping me. I... well as she says: one day at a time. That's the plan. :) :)

Now you have virtual mono!

Holy Christ!

How can a thin woman like you be at high risk for diabetes?? That's so WRONG! Or, you know, maybe it has something to do with all that other crazy stuff. :( Mono alone would be enough to explain how miserable you've been feeling, but ALL THAT? Oh, hon, I hope things can be fixed soonest.

Well thank you for saying I am thin! I have no idea, but I guess since I metabolize everything wrong, I have just been turning it all to sugar and that has something to do with it.

Fixing will take a while, but I'm heading in the general direction, with help from the family...

Holy crap, babe. That would explain a few things! At least now you know what's been kicking you, so eventually you can start to tackle these bastards one by one. (TV is my favorite coping device too; I hope you're enjoying whatever you're watching these days.)

*hugs*

La la la I just want to sleep all day. Now I know more about WHY. TV... such a great coping device. Except for the new fall season - why so icky? US crime procedurals are suddenly boring my pants off.

Lost Girl! Now that is made of win.

Egads, *hugs*! My partner the holistic nutritionist says that all sounds connected & if you can get a bioavailable form of B vits for you, a lot should get better (takes some time but I think she said in a month or 2 you would likely feel like a new person). Which may or may not be any consolation but figured I'd pass it along.

I'm getting an intravenous cocktail once a week starting in November. Which should make me feel, if not like superwoman, then at least a little better. :)

Oh wow. That is so much to get over just to get out of bed in the morning. I really hope you get some good solutions--so much of it sound treatable.

I have never had an easy time getting out of bed in the morning, but it was starting to get RIDICULOUS. And falling asleep at the desk. Seemed all a bit much. Well, that's mono for you!
