I really do love you!

Sorry if you're waiting on a reply, message, phone call, stalking from me. I'm now trying to process a bunch of test results that show I have Mono, anemia, hypo-thyroidism, a high risk for diabetes, a gene mutation making me unable to metabolize B vitamins and folic acid, and really low numbers on all kinds of important things like Vitamin D, K, B ( Read more... )

you're deficient, what to expect when you're alive

Hypothyroid meds can be tricky to regulate, but it will make a *huge* difference once it's under control. (My mother-in-law and several other people I know have this, and, um, I indexed a book about it.)

I'm not going on thyroid meds just yet. As the doc says "you have so much more to worry about first." But I've been on them before... we'll see what happens. SO complex.

Mom is here and already it has made a huge difference.

Kicking carbs to the curb with great reluctance and petulance.

Doll, TV sounds like exactly what is called for. *hugs* I hope you can get all these things under control and feel so much better.

Wouldn't it be awesome? I would love to feel better. Meanwhile, my mom is here and I have some excuse to sleep a lot (mono).

Oh, dude! ::hugs hugs:: That definitely explain a lot of how awful you're feeling. Why are bodies so complicated? D:

Bodies are hugely complicated when you think about them which is why I have tried to ignore mine all this time. Now the other shoe has fallen, so there you are. ::hugs::

aw man! *hugs* that sounds miserable! I'm glad you got it diagnosed, though, and can figure out some kind of treatment plan!

I had B12 anemia last spring and it was awful--I was amazed that a vitamin deficiency could have such a strong affect (I can't quite imagine dealing with mono on top of that--kudos to you for even being able to type!). I was able to resolve it with oral supplements, but if they've already figured out that you can't metabolize B vitamins, surely they'll just give you a shot!

Anyway, it took a couple of months, but I felt hugely better when the levels came up, if that's any consolation.

TV sounds like an excellent idea--hope you feel better soon!

I will get an intravenous cocktail!!! Yummy!

I would really like to feel better, so I am going to see it through - this time - and hope for the best.
