That's awesome. :) Good luck with the class! I loved online classes, even though somewhat more challenging, they're just easier 'cause you don't have to go anywhere.

Why'd you go to Nebraska for your degree instead of staying in Canada?

It's affiliated with the private h.s. I went to and I got a scholarship and at the time. Also, I had personal issues at home and I wanted to get away as far as possible. I even considered going to Australia to study lol...I should have done that!

Congrats and good luck! One last class isn't bad at all. :) Well worth it. What degree did you pursue in Canada? Did you finish it?

Social Science in Communication stream...yap...finished it.

I wanted to transfer to Public Relations, Communications but that school screwed me over in more ways than one. Now, I don't really know what to do with a Social Science degree lol.

Ahhh... what is communication stream? Is it just that you concentrated on classes in communication more so?

Certainly can't hurt if it only takes one more class to get an associates in Business. Never hurts to have more schooling. It something that can't be taken away from you is the way I see it.

I think the adviser just saw "Communications" on their brochure and plugged me there lol. Social Science is the study of the society, so the jobs that really relates to this is government jobs. As one of the teacher summarized the degree, she said it's like psychology...except you don't study the rat, you study that maze that affects the rat's decision to go left or right.

The stream in communication means I focused on the Media..."The medium is the message." Almost all the classes I took focused on that quote lol...which again, focuses not literally on what's being said, but how? In different classes, we analyzed magazine ads and the hidden messages. We studied about Karl Marx and their propaganda. It wasn't about their point per se, it was how they delivered and influenced the people. It was a lot of analyzing and there were no exams, just essays after essay...after essay lol. You'd think by then I'd be a good writer lol.

But you're right about more schooling, knowledge is something people can never take away from you.
