Dude, seriously-- it's extra fascinating on that count. You can tell the authors expect the reader to have full knowledge of these "famous" cases that took place overseas and... well, I know I didn't.

I have an "Encyclopedia of Serial Killers"-type book somewhere around here that was clearly written by an Englishman, and it has a very English focus. I love that about it. Also the spelling of jail as "gaol."
