[Gabriel is laughing, not cruelly, never at Alice, but the question and the misunderstanding is possibly the sweetest thing he's ever seen in all his long years. She really is the most precious of creatures, and worth more than all the stars in the heavens and the birds in the trees.
He manages to calm himself down a little, wiping away tears from his eyes and he's still smiling, chuckling softly]
Oh Allie-pie, you are the most wonderful little girl. How about we make some cup-cakes and I'll explain it, hm?
Eeeek! [She laughed as she fell onto her bottom with a soft "oof." She crawled out from beneath the table, her wings fluttering as she did. [She smiles at him.] I've been found! But I've not yet been caught!
[She giggles as she gets into her play room that Dean built for her. She can see Lazarus peeking in through the windows. He blinks as he sees his little mistress.] You can't catch me Gabriel!
[Gabriel probably can't in this state, laughing so hard there are tears in his eyes but he follows anyway, stepping over toys and piles of books.] I'll catch you! I will, I will catch you!
[And then he slows, before stopping dead still and looking worried] After all, if I don't catch you, who will be the Faerie Princess? Can't be me. Can't be Lazarus. Can't be the cats. Can't be the puppy... and Dean would make a terrible Faerie Princess...
That's right. You see... we need a faerie princess. Without one, well, there just can't be a party and a parade. Everyone will be so terribly upset. It'll probably rain too. Faerie Princesses bring good luck, didn't you know?
[He glances at her, just for a moment, trying not to grin, keeping his expression slightly sad too, worried.] And I promised I'd find a faerie princess! What ever will I do?
[He pulls away slightly, laying on the floor, elbows on the carpet, hands supporting his chin] Well, you'll have to draw me what you want it to look like. It's your princess crown, after all.
Well, I have a perfect idea for a crown! [Alice gets up quickly and hurries over to her little drawing table (as she had many tables) and pulled out a piece of paper to start drawing. When she's all done she hurries back over and shows him the paper. It's a flower crown of all different colors and interwoven are little stars and glitter. She hands it to Gabriel.]

...to late!
Gabriel moves towards her, arms wrapping around her and they end up landing on top of that giant rabbit, Gabriel's nose rubbing into her cheek.]
I knew you were the very best princess.
