Bevlyn's thoughts: 我只在乎你 (I Only Care For You)

I have read from somewhere that romances are made on earth, and marriages are made in heaven. There is no way for me to verify, but this is what I feel about Shawn and Nellie.

When I first met them, Nellie gushed about how they used to be in the same secondary class, but Shawn didn't take any fancy to her because he preferred petite girls then. Some years later, they met each other again at a class gathering, and the sparks that didn't fly before suddenly caught on. So it definitely is full circle for the both of them.

The solemisation was held in the Chamber room of the Old Parliament House (Now known as The Arts House). It definitely was a fantastic venue to hold the solemnisation because of the air of solemnity, and the excellent seating arrangement which allows everyone to have a comfortable seat and a good view of the couple. Incidentally, Nellie and Shawn also conducted the tea ceremony there!

Families and relatives were seated banquet-style in the Blue Room while friends gathered in the Living Room where Wilson and I performed. The sound system and the acoustic were good, and the coordinators were very pleasant to work with too. A surprise moment for me was to bump into Lynette, who happens to be a friend of Nellie!

A highlight of the day had to be when Nellie sang 我只在乎你 (I Only Care For You) to Shawn after the champagne popping ceremony.

Standing solo on the spiral staircase at the corridor where friends gathered, she seranaded her lucky groom with this song, her eyes never leaving his for a second. Needless to say, the song was rewarded with Shawn's embrace and kiss.

Shawn: you are in the club of the lucky fellas who were serenaded by their wives during the weddings!
