I am typing this post in Colemak. Very slowly.

A weird thing: in Firefox, text fields are working with Colemak, but keyboard shortcuts are still QWERTY. I'm effectively hitting cmd-G to open new tabs, instead of cmd-T. I wonder why that is.

Colemak is closer to QWERTY, so it's supposed to be easier to switch (eg, it keeps Z, X, C, and V in the same place, so you don't destroy things by having the wrong keyboard shortcuts in your muscle memory). Also, supposedly there are some problems with Dvorak -- here's what the colemak FAQ says.
