So here it is.  The final fic in the Belle Series and more than likely the final fic I will have ever written.  It took a month.  I am not sure what to say here.  If this gets reads, then thank you so much for patiently waiting three years for a fic that had the chance of never coming.  This fic is an end to the series, but does not have a totally ( Read more... )

Oh gawd! What have you done to me? *wipes desperately at my eyes* This was beautifully sad and right. The words of Hallelujah fit perfectly with the tone.

(sniffling) Yeah, the lack of a real happy ending hits hard, but I think it works. The Doctor will feel guilty when he realizes what Lex did, but he'll understand it better than any of the rest. Well, maybe Jack will given his background. I only hope Lex gets peace in the end.

But it does boil down to choices being respected. And Lex's were never respected. So he's making sure they are. It hurts, but there's only so much anyone can do if someone doesn't want to be helped.

Thank you so much for posting. I've missed seeing work from you. Hugs to you all, and especially the Cheeky Monkey.

I couldn't end this one happy. There was no way, and I really didn't want to. I wanted some reality and consequences of choices.

I think Lex will have peace. And anyone who wants to take the idea of Donna and Ten raising Susie and run with it, have at it. :) I am well and truly done with this 'verse.

*hugs back* Thank you, and thanks for the comments.

It's not always about having a happy ending, but how realistic and true to the characters it is, how real the consequences are.

I'm speechless.... well done!
