When it comes to Jordan if he is serious about the suicide stuff, all I can think of to say is either he needs to be taken to the ER or to a psychiatric hospital.We were taught that when someone is talking about suicide you need to find out if they have a plan, because generally if someone has a plan they are serious. If he is just using it, even subconsciously, to keep you around, that is just wrong.
That is what I have been taught about suicide, if they are talking about it, they need help. It shouldn't be your responsibility because, you do have to live your life. But if you are the only one who would take him to the ER or a psych place. . . well that is a conundrum.
Yah, I don't know. He keeps now saying that he is ok and that he won't try anything again. Yah, again. I just don't know what the right thing to do with him is. I don't FEEL like he's suicidal anymore, but I just don't KNOW for sure. It stresses me out.
I agree with the above comment... If he does mention it or you feel like it might be an issue... confront him about getting help. Then call us and we will also confront him. If he needs help then we are here to help him help himself. If it is all smoke, then he has got to stop blowing it... for his sake and everyone else.
