Y'know, I could even do this one without shame, because I *gasp* CLEANED OUT THE FRIDGE this weekend. The one advantage of my brother & his wife being gone. If I did the freezer one, it might freak people out... there's frozen mice in there, after all. (Cornsnake. Required, unless you're going to live feed, and I can't.)
I wouldn't mind seeing the contents of your fridge (or freezer, mice or no!) because I'm curious and interested to seeing what other people keep in theirs.
I went to a pet shop the other day (my friend was after tropical fish) and while she was looking I strolled over to the section with the snakes and thought of you both. :)
The scary, way-pre-me-cleaning-it-out fridge, circa January right after I'd moved in, can be found here. View with extreme caution. This picture actually embarrasses me....
And, awww! That's actually really sweet to hear. :)
That doesn't look too bad. Just very... packed. So long as none of the food had been there that long it could have crawled out. ;)
I found a jar like that when I opened up the fridge yesterday. I went to check the use-by date, raised an eyebrow at the colourful fuzz which waved hello and it went straight into the bin. :P
*grins* Mum came back from shopping not long after I took those photos, so there's some more stuff in there now. Although the chicken lattices and new potatoes have gone. We've just ate them for tea.
I'd never met anyone that freezes individual slices of bread before staying with you. As you can see we either freeze the whole thing, or half, and slowly eat the other half that's outside the freezer. We must eat it fairly quickly because I've never known us to have to throw a half away because it's gone off.
Does that mean I'll get a look inside your fridge at least? *g* Well, since I last saw it anyway. :P
*g* Take out the exact amount of bread you need. It does work! ;) Nope, we never throw it out either, sometimes I buy just a half bread because I can't fir more into the freezer.
Uhm, I think I'll leave that one for tomorrow *g* have to check if there's something interesting in there.
As you know, I don't eat toast (at home anyway), so my five pack of bagels is never frozen because they don't last me too long. And neither Mum or David would defrost their bread before either eating as a sandwich or toasting it.
I adore those packets of steamed vegetables. I used to eat them all the time for my lunch back when Mum actualy left room in the freezer for me to put my own stuff in. I might beg for a corner of a drawer one day. Or borrow one of yours. ;) *g*
Pickled onions, now I have to be in the mood for those. And I'm not at the moment. You're welcome to them. *lol* They seem to get brought out every Christmas though.
Wow. *wants peanut butter now* This is so much fun! So much. I will take the pics and post them but I have to clean (sth at least). Hey, wa¡hat in your fridge belongs to Orlando and what to Sidi? :DD

Well, Sidi likes the peanut butter too but it gets stuck to his teeth/gums (although funny as hell to watch him trying to lick it off). *is evil* ;)
Can't wait to see your fridge. :D

All spreads are kept in the fridge with the exception of any chocolate spreads because then they go rock hard and that destroys your toast.
