illuminated_sin wanted to know what was in our fridges/freezers, so here's ours.
Top shelf (L-R):
I have no idea what's in the bowl (far left) but I'll hazard a guess at the left-over chicken from last night. Below that is the small piece of steak my brother likes to eat. And at the bottom is the cheese & broccoli chicken lattices which might be cooked for tea one night.
Heading to the right, a jar of mayonnaise (blue lid), some kind of jam (silver lid), crunchy peanut butter (red lid), silverkin pickled onions (black lid) and some form of meat (I didn't look too closely).
Next shelf down (L-R):
On the left: Cheese holder with mature cheese inside. Tonic water in the large plastic bottle lying on its side. Dairylea cheese spread in the small tub and Clover in the large yellow carton.
Top shelf (L-R):
Pinapple juice. Milk. Tropical fruit juice (the orange thing almost hidden at the back). My Tymbark 11 multivitamin juice at the front. A Brita filter jug next to that. Salad Cream. Chocolate Fudge Ice cream Sauce.
Bottom compartment (L-R):
Two of my brother's yoghurts. Another (unopened) tub of Clover. New potatos in herbs and garlic.
Top shelf (L-R):
Salsa (probably left over from when they last did tacos). Two jars of Morrisons "Best" Marmalade. Balti curry paste (from the last time I made a curry, I think).
Next shelf down (L-R):
One of those tubes in the compartment is tomato paste. Not sure what the other one is. If anyone wants to know I'll go down and have a look. *g* Tuna pate. And two tubs of Brussels Pate.
Top shelf: Eggs.
Bottom shelf (L-R):
Lime juice cordial. Lemon and Lime flavoured fizzy water. Tomato Ketchup. Gin. Red wine. Both horrible stuff. :P
Now onto the Freezer.
In the case where the drawer is full I've detailed the top layer only without really looking through. Mum was already giving me strange looks for photographing the freezer drawers one by one. *g*
Chicken in peppercorn sauce with roast potatoes. Frozen sliced green beans. The next two bags are frozen vegetables, but I'm not sure what kind. Probably either brocolli or green beans. Mum buys them alot. The red bag at the right are frozen yorkshire puddings.
Frozen carrots. Frozen roast potatoes. A frozen loaf of bread.
Frozen "steam fresh" rice and vegetables from Birds Eye. I cannot recommend these enough. I prefer the brocolli, asparagus and sweetcorn variety though (don't like carrots). About two/three minutes in the microwave and you have steam-cooked, nice tasting vegetables. :) Frozen mince beef. Frozen spinach in canelloni below that. Chips. And some kind of meat below that.
The last drawer now. Fulled with vegetables (blue/green bags), chicken - I think (red bag) and half a loaf of bread (the blue bag at the very right).
So, what's in your Fridge? :)
