Yeah, it's my thing. I'm generally only comfortable when it's 80 degrees or more, so I'm generally a miserable crank when it's not. I wouldn't turn down a vacation to somewhere cooler, but it's just not my faves. For example I loved Virginia and the Shanendoah Valley and hiking, and I loved Central Oregon, and I love metropolitan cities like Boston and NYC and Chicago... but my heart lies at the beach :)

lol, my realistic list right now only includes Israel and maybe finishing off the 6 states I haven't been to. It's hard to travel on a disabled veteran's income. :(

Oh my god, Sipadan Island... it looks like a dream!!

It truly is. So remote, and so pristine. You can't actually stay on Sipadan Island itself (there is no housing there), but this island atoll we stayed at is as close as you get.

I'm amazed you've been to Lang Tengah. I spent 6 months working on that island. It holds a special place in my heart.
