I have words again

when the
automatic caution door
swallowed me whole
once before
it stole
all the people and the sun
took a vacation
from fun
but none
of the serious slush
shut me inside
the hush
just died

mit, introspection

Oooo! I have no idea what it's about, but it resonates with me on some level. I like it. :)

That's... freaky.
Sounds like something Smashmouth might do.
Not quite TMBG Freaky, though

The phrase "automatic caution door" brings back good memories. I love you.

Could you explain what this otherwise random babble is about then?
I assumed it was Rak quoting a song.

He wasn't quoting anything, and he'll probably be hurt that you called his poetry random babble.

Whoops :p Did I put my foot in it?
It's still fairly freaky, Rak. :)
Not freaky in a necessarily bad way, as I revel in the freaky (again: TMBG)

I assumed you were quoting some modern poet (or a lyricist who draws from the same well) and skimmed the comments to find out who. I like it....
(I just wrote & then cut some English-major commentary on what's good about it; this isn't the place and besides, I resigned from that club years ago.)
