Part I:
There had been wine, though not nearly enough for any of them to loose sense and reason to drunkenness. They had drunk deeply of the passion and lust in the air, finding it much more intoxicating to be with each other than any drink.
Andrew’s chest rose and fell steadily as he lay on his back on the luxurious bed. His parted lips closed and he made a quiet moan as warm, gentle weight shifted next to him and pressed against his side. He opened his eyes, slowly. He drew in a half of a sharp breath, seeing who lay next to him.
He held still for long moments, before he slowly began to shift and sit up in bed.
Theodore and James continued to sleep, cradled against each other, their arms intertwined.
Theodore mumbled, sensing the loss of warmth from his other side.
Andrew tucked the blanket back around him, and Theodore calmed again, relaxing and pulling James’s arm tighter around his chest.
James snored as Andrew silently slipped his breeches back on, retrieving his shirt from the floor. The floorboards creaked slightly under his weight as he gingerly made his way to the bedroom door. He shut it behind him.
