I'm a very lucky person, really. And things are all right, even if they might not seem that way.

And look what I got the other night. Not as cuddly and brilliant as the original, but still thoroughly appreciated ( Read more... )

Your dad would probably just laugh and leave us in overnight if we got caught, wouldn't he?

Your dad can read your posts, remember?

We need to talk about this. I expect you in my office first thing tomorrow morning. Both of you. And no sending any of your little robot minions to have a dig through the archives. They're not so cute that they can't be confiscated.

Right. Okay.

Leave me both shoes this time, won't you? It was a pain in the arse walking back to David's place the last time when you took one and then left me on earth the last time.

You really don't ever change, do you?

But you... you've got the TARDIS. And you're going to get it working and find the other me and have adventures. And it's not like we wouldn't come back. And you could come with us, if you wanted. But you've got centuries, Susan. I've got a human lifetime. I don't think you can know how... how brilliant and how terrifying that is. If I get the chance, of course I want to go!

Right. Because bringing up the possibility of traipsing off back to your original universe is going to calm Jackie down so much, never mind me.

Or are we talking in a time frame where it wouldn't matter for any of us except for Susan?

The latter. Fixing up the TARDIS is no easy job.
