Am making dinner at the moment. I didn't really have any plans, so I'm knocking together something a bit like this but we didn't have any rocket, so I'm having to experiment a little ( Read more... )

*pets Wall-E*

It's smelling great! YUM!

And I think you'd love guest lecturing once in a while! All those people you can tell things to. It's perfect for you!

And I guess it's time to start thinking of presents and what to get everyone. Anything on your list yet?

I'm still a little concerned that the toaster is secretly AI and the robots just haven't seen fit to tell us yet. That might mean other things are also in the same state, and if there's one thing I don't need, it's the shower informing me it thinks I'm using too much water!

I will have to think of things to talk about that are right for this century though, won't I? That could get a bit complicated.

And ooh... Christmas! :D We could do something exciting instead of buying something? Is there anything you want?

That would be...surprising. XD

What exactly are you supposed to be lecturing about? Earth fish, right? Hmm. Maybe you could bring some along and just talk about those?

I think I like the sound of doing something better than getting something. Although just a week later and we have our first anniversary! We might want to do something for that too. Hmm.

Well, I was specifically invited for marine biology this time, which is just a matter of making sure I don't pre-empt any new discoveries by a few years, but it was implied that if I do all right at this, I might be invited back to talk about other things. :D

And we'll probably spend Christmas with your family, won't we? So we can maybe do something extra-extra special for both Christmas and anniversary wrapped into one! :D

Hey, Doctor, do you know where Gary the parrot went off to?

I would give a good distance from your Mother-in-law for the next few days.
