Poor Devin bb. Things just get worse. It must be terrifying to lose parts of your memories like that. I like your idea that Eric (aka Ernest) appears to Devin in trans dreams, and as in my canon, gives him information that's true even though he really shouldn't be real, right? Well, he's questionably real and in this case it's even more questionable than in my canon. :)

I also really liked that Devin wanted to trust him so badly even though he knew he was just a dream. Like on some level he stilll remembered him, even if he couldn't consciously access those memories.

Poor bb. I hope he gets out soon.

I hope he gets out soon, too. Seriously, the Home is not good for your mental health. Messing with your memories like that? Yeah, not such a good way to deal with things.

I'm glad I'm getting the "questionably real" thing to work. I was like "so how on EARTH is Devin gonna get outta there? Oh, I'll have 'Ernest' guide him!"

Ah, looks like the escape plan is starting to come together. :) I like that Eric "gave" him the idea -- when Devin probably had been piecing together the escape plan subconsciously for a long time now. If the plan works, I will be so happy for him. Dude totally fucking needs to get out of there.

Poor bb, though. Losing his memories like that.

He totally does need to get out of there. The less-than-homey Home is fucking with his head something awful, and he needs to take what's left of his mental stability and leave.

I hope the plan works, though it's probably not going to off without at least some complications.
