previous chapter ---------
I wanted to say something to Preston as he lay on his bed, staring up at the ceiling. I had thought there might be hope for our friendship, but that hope wouldn’t exist if I couldn’t keep the conversation going.

'You know what, Dylan?' )

I'm not sure it's the best idea for Dylan to go to Zimara, but at least he's managed to gain insight into the idea that it's not going to magically fix him. And dude, I'm not super into het!smut, but Syra is interesting and I might be interested in reading some smut with her in it (which I'm pretty sure you said you were planning on writing?). I can see that being cool. In your other version, cyborg!Dylan wasn't too sure what his body could do. I'd like to see what sorts of interesting tricks cyborg bodies are capable of in bed.
Sure is going to be awkward as hell if Preston does decide to go to Zimara with Xan and Dylan. Poor dude.

And lol you must be rubbing off on me with the wild mood whiplash.
It really wouldn't be the best idea for Dylan to go to Zimara, but I think he will. I also think Preston will, creating monumental awkwardness. Man, things just suck for Preston, don't they?

I also feel bad for Xan because all he wants to do is be on Earth and have fun and not have to worry about all of that political drama and whatnot. And Dylan, bb. I'm a little proud of him for realizing that it won't solve all of his problems to go to Zimara, but at the same time, he really shouldn't go with Xan, I don't think. But then things wouldn't happen that need to happen.
Poor Preston bb. Gonna have to watch his ex be happy with someone else. That's gotta suck.
