I think Finbar's behavior has turned Breccan away from him for a long time, if not permanently, because it showed Breccan how badly Finbar handles being hurt.

Maybe after they mature a little? Isabel was supposed to help Finbar be better, not make him act WORSE. Oops.

Children, children, CHILDREN. Have none of you people heard of TALKING ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS LIKE ADULTS? Really, now. I sort of feel like Breccan could have tried harder to talk to Finbar too, once he saw how upset he was. Y'all both suck. :-p

I think Breccan was like "if this is how he handles being hurt, it's just not worth it." Granted, Breccan is not very...proactive, in general. I get the feeling he thought he might have been able to talk it out but just didn't want to bother because what will happen the next time they get in a fight? That's not to say his assessment of the situation was at all correct, of course. And ALL couples fight and need to learn to deal with that. Breccan is not the most emotionally intelligent guy around, nope.

These guys are in their early twenties so I guess their brains are still not developed enough to behave like actual functioning people?
