Kalen, you have crossed into "too dumb to live" territory. Fucking amazing. When I read that patch of dialogue over IM *I* got pissed at him. Granted, writing Devin right now myself, but still. What the fuck, dude? Not your fucking house. You don't get to dictate who fucking stays and who goes.

Felt so bad for Devin when Wes pushed Kalen's worthless ass out of the way. Poor bb probably would have killed himself if he didn't heal Wes when he had. You KNOW he can't live without Wes, dude. Even if he is immortal. Or something.

I see this discovery of healing powers going in a very bad direction, though. =/

This icon is appropriate, yeah? Because, damn, yes, fic!Kalen is Too Dumb to Live. Yet, somehow, he keeps on living.

I realized a Plot Problem since Wes is healed, though. Devin's attempts to kill himself despite being immortal were what caused the Plot Important Near-Apocalypse before, and now that Wes is alive, he's not gonna be doing that. Maybe something Egan did caused it? Egan would be shitty enough to make that happen even if by accident.

Ugh, Kalen. Really? It's not YOUR house, dude. Even if nobody's really sure how Devin pays for the magical house, it's still his magical house, okay? Not yours. I'd love to say he wouldn't be that dumb in my canon, but um. Okay, he wouldn't be quite that dumb in my canon but you know, he did move a billionty people into Devin's house without asking if it was okay so yeah.

Oh, man. I'm glad Devin didn't kill Wes. I know it's fanfic, but still. He wouldn't have been able to deal with it. Apparently, I wouldn't either.

I think squidgod needs to learn how to control his powers soon. Although there's still the whole issue of him being Devin even if he does. Whoops.

I might have part of the next story be about him learning to control his powers. Even if he does, though, you're right: he's still Devin. Having physical control over his abilities doesn't mean he won't decide to use them for terrible, terrible ideas like resurrecting his dead best friend in a very misguided attempt to "make things right."

"Ugh, Kalen" is right! As you know, he annoys me just so much; that's almost certainly why he's an even bigger douche in my fanfic than he is in canon.

I see you managed to hurt Kalen even without killing him. He really does not have his head on straight. It's not his house! He's being such a brat.

YOU CAN'T KILL WES. I would have flat-out flounced from this story if Devin had killed Wes. I'm so glad Wes is okay but I see more emotional turmoil ahead after the confessions of love and lkhdfohibkj.lsihfoh this is not going to be good.

Yup, I managed to hurt Kalen even though he somehow refuses to actually die. I think it's his very asshole nature that's keeping him alive. Killing him just wouldn't have much of an emotional impact, and, in my fic, I already killed off one douche when Devin got Egan.

Yeah, there will definitely be more turmoil up ahead. Things aren't going to be sunny in this story (unless it decides to just do whatever and completely switch the planned tone on me).
