these are all very interesting - and varied!
i hope you pursue them further :))

of course i want to see more of your flyer and related characters but the other ideas here have much to recommend them.

do you know the Greek myth of Odysseus and his second son Telegonus?

for myself, alas, i have many ideas but no proper keyboard to type them up - gah!

It was fun trying to come up with ideas for these and I suppose it goes to show I should never look at something and moan about having no idea what to write. I'm enjoying being part of writerverse because it feels like there is a good balance of varied challenges, with doable deadlines and no pressure to do every single challenge (though in a perfect world I would be attempting that at least). I'd be nagging you to join up if you had a proper keyboard... actually, join up anyway, keyboard be damned! :-)

There's another challenge I'm trying to do at the moment, which is the weekly drabble/short story prompts and there's 5 bonus points for using all the prompts, which are:

party occasions
ghost story
pink fluffy unicorns
stay by my side
caught in the rain

so I'm currently trying to get pink fluffy unicorns into a short story about the ghosts of the Highwayman and Bess the landlord's daughter...

I'll definitely have to look into that myth as I've not heard of that one.

alas the membership is closed.

but - i will be writing as soon as my(delayed) keyboard ariives! oh happy day!
