So glad that the show turned out well, considering the things standing in its way: a bossy/controlling assistant director, poor marketing, an ineffective actor that had to be removed from the cast. It's always such a shame to see those repeat mistakes (regarding Janet's inability to properly promote shows) and no one standing up and making the hard decision to make a change. I wonder how long she'll last. Is she anywhere near retirement age?

So fun that you got to go out and see your friend direct and act in a play. ♥ And you definitely piqued my interest when you mentioned the murder mystery... okay now that sounds like something I'd love to see!!
