Re weight - haha, my goal is 126 lb. I'm X amount off right now and working on losing it(but not too far). But I'm only 5.1! So I admire that at 5.9 you are "allowing" yourself to be 130! Actually this is my thinking too, ideally for my height I can go as low as 110, but realistically... I have never been lower than 120 in my entire life and it is virtually impossible for me to maintain 120. So 126 seems like a proper # allowing also for age and stuff. It is going slowly but I'm getting there...
The gentleman who's in my iaido class - a Tae Kwan Do master and self defense guru, always says that feeling is most important thing and at some point you have to stop memorizing "technique" and just do whatever feels right - that's why he's not "married" to any given style but takes whatever is there and turns it to his advantage. To watch him fight is most amazing thing. Write more! ;)
So good to see you :) That is so true about feel. I think the term is Shu Ha Ri in which, at first, it's all about technique. In the end, technique is meaningless and it's the spirit that is important. It's so Zen :P

Yeah, I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt because the outburst was so out of the blue. He was in the hospital for a couple of hours and ended up on an IV. He's looking better today though.
That group is Aria's Afterlife on FF.net. Great bunch of people and so creative. They don't have the cliquish air of other groups I've lurked around.
