Don't burn out! I hope that your Right Honourable computer gets his act together a bit! And it is sad that you can't tell real life people :( Though to be fair, plenty of times with Supernatural I default to "OMG SO HOT, just let me stare for a second and then I'll be happy again" (S6 gave me whiplash. I still really don't know what I think of it) so I can understand the impulse.

I told people when I we were first starting to write FC because otherwise, yeah, I was doing pretty much nothing. But there's always the tightrope of "Yeah, I'm writing a novel!...that's horrifying...and a gay romance novel...and fanfiction..."

Hope it works! Oh, yes, and THANK YOU SO MUCH WE ARE SO EXCITED! *cheerleads awkwardly but enthusiastically*

He's just so rubbish. He's so noisy. It's never really bugged me until I started recording stuff. I'd play it back and think he was wheezing, then pause and realise he was actually really quiet and the wheezing was just on the recording.

Yeah, I've kind of explained to my parents what a podfic is (they know I'm into fanfiction, because frankly I've barely left my room in the last four years, and they'd worry what the hell I was doing on the internet at all hours otherwise) but it's not like I can freak out with them about it. I'm like "So I'm doing this reading of a really long fanfiction set in a concentration camp in an alternate universe. So that's what the noises from my bedroom are. It's not be having a pyschotic break. I mean, I might end up having one all the same, but if I do, I won't be podficcing."
