Music for a Summer Evening, proclaimed the concert flyer. Mind you this is England so come this Saturday the lovely summer weather we had been experiencing takes a decided turn for the worse and the temperature plummets to a chilly 11 degrees C. Cold enough outside, but add an old stone, unheated church into the mix and you're talking refrigerator

Sounds like a lovely concert. I quickly got used to taking several layers of clothing with me wherever I went in England, even if I thought it'd be 25 C all afternoon. There are some seriously weird weather patterns! Brrr!

The concert wasn't bad at all, just cold. :-) As to the British weather, well unpredictable is the kindest description.
