While in Austin, check out Emo's, one of the coolest bars/music venues I have been to. The bands play outside...

Awesome. We're there for 4 nights (IIRC) so we'll definitely try and check that out.

Double awesome - there's a japanese rock band called Electric Eel Shock playing there tomorrow night. We're *so* up for that if we can get tickets.

Wow, how are you feeling about returning home? Mixture of dread and excitement?

Yeah, pretty much that. The prospect of having our own place again, after so long in hotels, hostel and motels is just about enough to make a grown man cry; and we're both also really looking forward to being able to eat healthily etc.

on the flip side - real life beckons. Which is obviously less good.
