new year's drabbles

So, for a few years a while back, before a couple of *ahem* extended hiatuses, I was taking requests for New Year's Drabbles.  I shall do so again, now!  (If you want to make it a festive exchange of drabbles, in fact, I am also happy to provide requests in return.)

There is a body part challenge running at Tolkien Weekly, and nobody has yet managed to write something for neck, trunk, face or chest. Maybe you could write something set in the Houses of Healing, starting from one or more of those?

If your drabbles turn out not to be fixed-length and don't work for Tolkien Weekly, I'd still be interested to read them anyway, of course!
