Dissertation done and dusted! Two smart and pretty-fied copies all lined up to warm the cockles of the examiner's heart. I keep glancing over at them anxiously, in case they spontaneously combust or crumble into dust or simply fade away. So far, so good ( Read more... )

Yeah, they sent me an email about it, and it got my hackles up. I find it pathetic! There's so much to talk about in UK politics, and instead we get Dave the Chameleon. You're right - he's just fluffy.

HIGNFY said it all (or rather Hislop said it). Heir to Blair- what colour should that be- moderate Tory?

'true blue' is generally a complimentary epithet.

Depends where you say it!!!

Politics in general has degenerated to name-calling and spin. Very sad indeed...

Well, politics has pretty much always consisted of name-calling and spin, hasn't it? I suppose the spin has turned more and more away from facts recently. I don't mind name-calling at all, as long as its relevant and thought-provoking and witty. I suppose you could call Dave the Chameleon witty, but it's almost impossible to equate the sweet little lizard with the Tory leader.
