 This semester is going to be a challenge for me and give me a close synthesis of what being a professional journalist will be like.

My Photojournalism class is going to easily take 10-15 hours a week, same with reporting and Spanish if I study like I should.

 It was 8 days ago that in 30 minutes Billy and I decided to go to Las Vegas. 7 days ago we enlisted Joe.

24 hours ago our driver picked us up at the airport a half hour late.

22 hours ago I had already lost my first hundred dollars at the black jack tables.

I need something to do.

Tomorrow work starts and I’m hoping it alleviates some of my stress and worries. I hope I’ll feel like I’m moving forward again.

I don’t do “vacation” the way other people do.

 Thanksgiving morning and I woke up counting the streets surrounding L'Arc de Triomphe in the vintage French poster on my wall.

I could have been counting the real streets, waking up to a frigid day in Paris. Maybe end it watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle in the snow.

 I slept in very very late because the night before I stayed up very very late with guy Alex and Eric. Trading travel stories, smoking hookah and sipping beers passes time more quickly than you would think.
