Pretzels are not improved by peanut butter. Neither are they made better by chocolate and the people who combine the two are simply adulterators. (As opposed to adulterors - I have no knowledge of their private lives.) The only things that improve pretzels are sourdough as an ingredient, or mustard applied externally (in the case of soft pretzels).

Well, let me explore this...

First and foremost, it calls to mind Homer Simpson snackery. Secondly, consider the caloric value of said coupling, peanut butter and bacon.

Lastly, like many things the idea of it may be so much better than the reality of it.

There is no discriminatory segregation here, if you want to eat the weirdness, eat the weirdness. No one is stopping you. As to it gaining popularity, that's another thing entirely.

Sorry, but YUCK! I can't stand the taste of peanut butter and I"ll run a mile from the damned thing!

On a wholly different topic, now that you're a responsible married man, does this mean that I lose the opportunity of seeing you at Lunacon?... Or can you persuade the lady wife to come along for the ride...?
