Yeah, I was thinking the same thing XD I mean, really, he's a superhero in his own way. I would've loved to write more about Santa and his operation, but I wrote this for a Christmas challenge and ran out of time.^^*

This was great! It was a wonderful mix of adorable and humor and I loved Damian and his reindeer bite. BTW, my six year-old sister sent a letter to Santa saying that the only thing she really wants is to meet Rudolph... She'd totally be in heaven if she could trade places with Damian here. And I hope you write the BBQ in August. Are the other Bats going to find out about the trip to the North Pole? I'd be interesting to see their reactions, I have a feeling Dick would be more into it than anyone.

Yeah idk, it's Damian, I thought of course he'd get bitten, and of course he'd then love it. XD Too bad I ran out of time and couldn't describe the meeting between him and the reindeers, because Damian and animals is always a kind of magical combination. And oh man, that story about your sister is too cute! And understandable, who wouldn't want to meet Rudolph and the others? ;)

I would really love to write the barbecue thing, and yes, if I did, I'd definintely include the other Batfamily members. And I agree, Dick would have a freak-out about it, it'd probably be as bad as when he met Superman for the first time. XD

Ohhh, what a lovely Christmas fic! Gosh, so many things happening here. It's funny and sweet and melancholy, and it's so nice to see some Bruce-and-Damian bonding, and it wasn't just silly bonding, I love that there was an actual case (hee) tying everything together. sfjksdf. I really enjoyed reading this, thank you. :)

Oh, thanks for noticing the bonding moments. I love Dick!Bats and Damian as bros and as a team, but idk, there's always something bittersweet about Bruce and Damian as Batman and Robin, because you know how much his father's recognition means to Damian even if he can't show it, and it's ... I don't know, heartwarming. ^^

UTTER. PERFECTION. There was a lot in the way of uncontrollable squeaking and/or laughter from me. I admit I was a bit terrified of Kal and Damo meeting, but it didn't go as horribly as I thought. SUPERMAN'S JUST SO DARNED AGREEABLE.

Yeah, I figured, Clark and Damian meeting would have to be a little less joyous than with the other Robins, because they're like oil and water personality-wise, but ultimately, Clark would be amused/charmed by Damian. And Damian probably admires Superman as much as every other kid does, but he couldn't show it in a conventional way. XD

And yes, Chris Kringle HAS to be a cool superhero in his own right, especially in this universe! I would've liked to get into that more, but this was for a challenge, so I ran out of time. Maybe they'll all get together again for that barbeque. =)

Damian meets Santa Clause. *-*

Melancholic or not, the idea itself is so cracky that it needs some Srz-ness not to go into the wacky territory. After all the best jokes are when the actors are serious about their lines, no matter how non-sensical they are.

I loved everything about this. Ok, I hate hate hate the american christmas klischees and could rage about all the disregard to other culture's custom s, but this was silly enough, that I can take it at face value and simply love it.

And I would like to ask for a sequel in August next year on that BBQ. I betcha Damian is going to bring Dick, because he is pouting that Superman never took *him* to meet Kringle when he hears about that. xDDDD
Maybe Jason and Tim, too. Tim because he thinks Damian made it up and Jason... because he secretely still writes his letters? I just love the happiness that is so subtly THERE, maybe because it's from Clark's POV and he's a positive person to start with.

Haha tbh, I don't like Christmas kitsch either XD I don't do Christmas markets, I don't watch Christmas specials, I barely pay attention to the whole thing. And the American version of that stuff always seems especially saccharine and gah. But there's so many doofy pictures of Superman and Batman (and Robin, but mainly Dick) with Santa out there that I couldn't resist. And I wanted to make Santa into a badass (I actually wanted to make him much darker, way more like Batman, but alas, I ran out of time

Just imagine Dick when Santa turns out to be this dark, shady and scary character instead of the jolly old man. He'll be devastated. xDD Damian of course is DELIGHTED. Indeed. *giggle

P.S. Superman being terrified of him is the best thing! Magic is his one weak point after all and though he established some sort of friendship/courtship with Bruce over the years, it was a rocky road and his dealings with Chris would be much of the same. Minus the covert flirting. I'm really starting to like them together in your fics.
