Just imagine Dick when Santa turns out to be this dark, shady and scary character instead of the jolly old man. He'll be devastated. xDD Damian of course is DELIGHTED. Indeed. *giggle*

I haven't seen the Batman/Santa pictures, but then I didn't search for them. I mostly get into christmas because I love seeing friends and family being happy and because of the food. My relatives ALWAYS cook up a veritable feast and it's the sole reason I'm coming home for the holidays this year instead of working (as we get paid double the usual amount it would be a lot more productive, but... passing up on the best food I'll have all year round? I just can't.)

Tim would be sceptical even after meeting Kringle and would probably question him or ask for some demonstration, because it could just be an elaborate ruse. Damian would do a lot to make a fool of him after all.

Jason.. oh yes, the poor thing would be terrified. He still writes the letters, all honestly expressing his emotions, because christmas was never a nice time for him and this way he could sort of channel his depression. (The three years in the Bat Mansion *might* have been an exception.) But he was always more than half convinced that the letters just vanished into the postal system to be burned or something. Someone actually READING them and REMEMBERING the contents. He'd be pale and anxious and prickly as a cactus upon actually meeting Kringle. Probably debating whether it's worth a try to attempt shooting him? xD But then he could never shoot Santa. Kids with a bleak childhood usually really like fantasy stuff about better things. Fairy godparents, dead relatives as angels in heaven or .. .well, Santa fulfilling wishes. So yes, I imagine he's very very secretely the meekest of all Robins upon meeting him. He probably wished for impossible things like his mom getting clean or his dad to stop hitting them or stopping to do illegal stuff or very practical ones like snowproof boots and warm underwear. He's a precious babe like that. <3 Maybe a scarce few letters saying "thanks, I don't need anything this year, because I got adopted by a billionare and have enought cookies and eggnogg to last me a lifetime, but maybe you could send Nightwing a horse shoe?" And he'd be relieved that Santa turns out to be reasonable in the end and not quite as opposed to lethal force.
...

Actually Jay *should* have landed on the naughty list, but all his bad actions where for such pathetic reasons, that you can't help but pity him a little. Or attribute them to PTSD which makes them not quite his fault. *sigh*

Tim would most likely be on the naughty list, because he's a liar and never really believed in magic or Santa, probably never wrote a letter to him in his life, because his parents wouldn't have encouraged such nonsense. But then he's not really a bad kid, as with Jason his intentions and motivations weren't evil.

As for Dick.. uh, does being too sexy put you on the naughty list? He was probably one really enthusiastic kid, writing his letter and attaching a loooooong list of super special awesome christmas wishes, with pictures and smilies all over. And spelling mistakes? Hm... Maybe one really heartbreaking letter after his parent's death, just like Bruce, but unlike the Batman he wouldn't have lost faith afterwards and just wrote another letter .. maybe after encouragement from Alfred.

But if Damian isn't on the naughty list, then by all means, none of the Robins should be there.
(By the way.. Dami+animals=instant love, he's such a cutie with rescued kittens and Titus and horses and the batcow and all ...well, lesser life forms.. it's precious.)

Hearing you say you'll go back to your WIPs is the best christmas present you could give, you know? xD Especially since you seem really motivated to do them and it's not yet a chore you resign yourself to. Alas, this is one more writing assignment, because I'm now going to expect the BBQ sequel to this one together with all the other stuff. xDDD Till then have some cookies and hot chocolate to defrost from this horribly wet winter weather while I do my metaphorical happy dance.
