Gutted!!

I just realised, and can't complain really...... but I had a box of Prestat Champagne Truffles, given to me by a friend just before I went away to the USA as a late Valentines/thank you gift for lunch I had made for her.

I had had maybe 2 out of the box and have just gone looking for them...... no where to be found.  As is a box of Betty's

That's bang out of order!

Food is food, and if you've been told to eat it, by all means do so, especially if it's perishable. But helping yourself to chocolate, more so if you know damn well it's expensive is just not cricket!!

The more I have thought about it the more pissed off I have become. I doubt they would have recognised the brand or realised just how expensive they are but even so, you wouldn't help yourself to that surely? If you fancy chocolate then eat the bleeding creme eggs!! They've always told me how they aren't in to sweet things too! And if you are tempted to try one, you know for sure when you have a Prestat truffle you are eating something special. Never occurred to me that they would touch them else I would have hid them away. They are coming around on Saturday and I do hope they mention to me how nice they were as I have a word to say.....

lol, it is a bit cheeky, I certainly see it as out of bounds, and they are bloody rich too, not something you can sit and scoff!

The boxes are fancy and if I saw one I would assume it was a gift, unlike the creme eggs, and I wouldn't touch someone elses's gifts.
