WHAT?!!!! Why? why why would you do that? that is so not fair. i mean it was a great ending to a fantastic story, but seriously....i cant breathe.
alex was very eloquent there at the end. nicely done, even if it wasnt quite as happy as i would have hoped, but i must say, they did create a lot of memories. and good for tommy. i loved that. ok i'm gonna stop now...

So you're the first to read of the end. I must say I liked your reaction. I think you were a bit surprised...lol. I know it's a "risky" way to end the story, but I think it works. I'm glad that you liked it, er, at least I hope you did. Thank you!

I won't say it wasn't well written, because it was....but I did NOT like the ending. I think I'll write my own. They went through so much to be together and then you kill her? You broke my heart. /sniffle

Awww...don't cry, sweetie. I know the ending was killer (no pun intended), but I hope you're not too horribly upset with me.

Seriously, I'm not flaming you because you wrote this story so well and powerfully. And really, it was your story to write and to choose the ending but it makes me so very sad. I'm almost ready to beg for an alternate ending for those of us who were hoping for a happy ending. What a journey for these two...but to have it end this way is heart breaking.

Thank you for your compliment on how it was written. That means a lot to me. As for the heartbreaking nature of the ending, sadly, I think that's exactly what I was going for. I know that's mean and cruel to play with your heart that way, but I do think it's somewhat more memorable this way rather than a "they lived happily ever after." I don't know...maybe that's just me. But I do thank you for not killing me over it...lol.
