Okay, I figured out how to get to the next bit! Now I have to figure out what happens between now and when Elizabeth comes out for her visit at the end of next week.

Remind me, is there anything I've suggested or hinted was going to happen in Cascade that hasn't happened yet? Anything people have been hoping to see?

Hnnnngh. Okay, I'm with Neal on this one. That was ... hot. Really, really hot. And kind of sad, to think that Neal believes Peter was thinking of El. He actually might have been? But I'm sorry, you put Matt Bomer, shirtless, under *anyone's* fingertips, they'll probably think about that skin and those shoulders just a little bit. :D

I was also very impressed with some of the wording you used in relation to Kate. The way Peter stopped himself from calling her "your ___." And, similarly, the way Neal stopped himself from calling Peter his in his thoughts. It's happening. Slowly but surely, the possessiveness is coming in. Neal's trying to fight it, but I really hope can tell this is going to be a long, hard battle of attrition ( ... )

Hm, I believe Peter *tried* to think of El. Because to do otherwise would be inappropriate on multiple levels. But it was a struggle, and he was not entirely successful ( ... )

Ahh! So much goodness here! Angsty Neal, paranoid and worried Moz, Kas! Yay for Kas! Kas figured out Neal eye weirdness. Then we get to the body work, lol. Oh Neal. Awkward, sexy times for the first time with Peter. Love it. But silly Neal with thinking Peter getting turned on can't possible be because of him, it much be purely pheromones, or a Guide thing, or thinking of El.

It was Angel who figured out Neal's eye weirdness--Kas just contributed the occasional smart remark. (It may have been hard to tell, since Dr. Temas in this story is free of many of his most noticeable quirks from the other universe--see a few comments up for details on the differences to their backstory in this AU.)

The reasons Peter was turned on are...varied and complex. There will be more on that later.

Oh, Neal! That scene of Neal talking to El and crying, while Peter made him comfort food, was so affecting. And I liked El's "other than that, Mrs. Lincoln" remark, and Peter's pride in Neal's abilities.

The massage scene was sexy, and reminded me that neither of our boys has gotten to "the sex chapter" in their respective books...

Oh, you know what, they have gotten to the sex chapter. But I haven't fired that particular Chekhov's gun in the story. That's something I can do in the next update.
