Okay, I figured out how to get to the next bit! Now I have to figure out what happens between now and when Elizabeth comes out for her visit at the end of next week.
Remind me, is there anything I've suggested or hinted was going to happen in Cascade that hasn't happened yet? Anything people have been hoping to see?

ANGEL! KAS! Eeeeeeee! *happy boinging around*
I was also very impressed with some of the wording you used in relation to Kate. The way Peter stopped himself from calling her "your ___." And, similarly, the way Neal stopped himself from calling Peter his in his thoughts. It's happening. Slowly but surely, the possessiveness is coming in. Neal's trying to fight it, but I really hope can tell this is going to be a long, hard battle of attrition.
I can't think of anything else going on in Cascade. The reason the boys are out there -- helping ID Jim's collar's cache? -- is finished. The classes are progressing. Kate and Adler are taken care of. Did you want to look into any of the other legal aspects of the school? Maybe an update from, I dunno, Diana or something, about "changes to policy?"
Other than the communication issues and the talking-through-dials that Peter's been doing, are there any other "Guide" lessons for him? Should he be able to tell another Sentinel on sight? Was Kate telling the truth about Neal's lying, or was that, as you put it, a "boyfriend thing?"

I could not resist putting Kas and Angel in. They may have one more little cameo in another scene I'm thinking about.
(If you are curious about how they met when military service is no longer mandatory for Sentinels, I have figured it out. Angel was working as a Sen-Med ophthalmologist in DC. He was a civilian, but did a couple of days a week at Walter Reed working with military Sentinels. (A lot of them *do* need corrective lenses for their tiny astigmatisms, because they're snipers and things like that.) Kas was still in the Army, and with Angel out of the picture served several years in a Ranger unit, ultimately ending up losing his leg in some sort of accident. He was sent to Walter Reed for treatment, and since prosthesis fitting and physical therapy are a fairly long process, he was around a lot, and eventually he and Angel crossed paths. Sparks flew, etc. It's a good thing Angel isn't an orthopedic surgeon in this universe, because if he was, Kas could have been his patient, and it would have been inappropriate for them to date. But since there was nothing wrong with Kas's eyes, that was not an issue, so they did.
In this universe, Kas had more professional opportunities as a badass military Guide, but the fact that he wasn't a traditional, submissive Guide was a hindrance to his personal life. The Sentinels he worked with appreciated his badassery in the field, but even before his injury, he was getting pretty tired of the constant struggles for dominance, and of Sentinels leaving him as soon as they were ready to settle down into a life that didn't involve constant danger. This universe's Angel, not having had Kas to baby him all his adult life, is considerably more grown-up than regular!Angel (despite the fact that, never having gone to Basic, he never picked up the habit of swearing), but is still completely uninterested in dominating anyone. He's flatteringly impressed by Kas's badassery, while having no inclination whatsoever to attempt to out-badass him. They hit it off extremely well, and when the time came for Kas to decide if he wanted to accept the early retirement to which his disability entitled him, or try to get some kind of desk job with the Army, chose to retire and stay with Angel. They Bonded, eventually, after knowing each other for several years, rather than three months, and have a much healthier--if less cute-- relationship than they do in the other universe.)
Gosh, maybe I should not-write that story, too.
