Need for beta
I'm asking for help. Well, as in the title, I'm looking for a some good soul willing to be the beta reader for me.
A little of details you can want to know about me and the 'to-do':
Problems
First and foremost, English isn't my first language, as you can undoubtedly see. Most of my fics I write in my own language (Polish) and then translate. The style is very important for me, so it's a great worry to me that I don't feel English enough. This is what I'll be inquire after in the first place, 'How it sounds?', "Is it too strong?', 'Is it too informal?', 'Is it...?'. There is also, of course, the matter of possible (and very probable) errors, even common and silly ones. Please have patience and mercy. :)
Examples of the previous works
1. My unbetaed texts: Written in Polish and then translated. Written in English from the start.
2. My betaed texts: With most of the beta's suggestions rejected. With all of the beta's suggestions accepted.
Advantages *cough*one advantage*cough*
I'm not a very urgent quick writer. :) A thousand words in a week (or month) is quite fast, as for me. And, hey, it's not every one week (nor month), savvy?
Work to get through
One drabble, as for now, maybe also one longer ficlet, and one veeery slow-in-progress multichapter in future. There are six chapters in original posted, one translated and waiting for posting. (Kind and wonderful fiquet helps me already, but I've loaded her with work so much lately, that I really should relieve her a bit. And anyway, the more eyes, the better).
So, ahem, anyone has read as far as this line? Started at all? Didn't run off?
Can I have the hope? *pleading wet eyes*
