The sun had just set, when Allie was franticly knocking at the door of a small yellow house.
"You have to help!" She begged desperately as soon as the door opened.
"Allie? What is it?" Ajay asked perplexed.
"Please, you have to help me!" She insisted
Still confused, but getting worried, Ajay motioned Allie to enter the house.
"What can I do for you?" He asked, after offering her a place to sit.
"I'm cursed, Ajay. You have to help me get rid of this" She replied between sobs. "Everyone keep dying around me, everyone I care about! There must be a way to stop it!"
"I'm not sure what do you mean, Allie, or why do you think I can help you" He replied looking puzzled.
"But you are a witch!" Ajay snorted pejoratively in return, but let her continued "You must understand of these things!"
"No, Allie, I'm sorry, but I don't. There's no such thing as a curse, at least not in the way you mean"
"But there must be something I can do! I can't let this happen again!" She uttered crying "I can't stand it anymore, Aj, please, help me!"
"First, you have to calm down, ok?" Ajay moved closer patiently "We can't try to figure out what's going on like this, ok?"
She nodded heavily and let him guided her to what seemed to be his room.
"I don't have much to offer, but you can stay here tonight." He said holding one of her hands "Try to rest now and we can talk about this when you feel better. I'll be in the living room if you need anything, ok?"
"Thank you" She answered shyly.
But as Allie gave him a grateful hug, she could feel her own body craving for loving company to fill up for the emptiness she carried inside,
and Ajay who, had who had done nothing but secretly think of her since they meet, was more than willing to help
... any way he could.

Allie woke up the next morning wearing one of Ajay's shirts. He had served breakfast for both and they talked calmly about mundane topic for a while, but eventually he reason that had brought Allie to his house was discussed once more. Deep down, Ajay still doubted he could do much for Allie, but agreed to check her house and see what he could think of, even if only to calm her down.
"I'll be back before sunset, and promise we'll get into this more calmly then. Ok?" He said s he prepared to go out for the day "For the moment you are most welcomed to stay here, if you please. Just be careful, with ... those things"
"I will" She chuckled, knowing he meant all of his wizard paraphernalia, which she wouldn't dare to touch anyways"And thank you, but I'm feeling much better today. I think I'll go home briefly to change, at least."
"Great" He nodded kissing her goodbye lightly, and assured her before leaving "I'll back as soon as I can."
Allie staid in Ajay's house for little longer, taking a curious, but distant, look to all of the strange things on display, in the room,
but the whole house was so incredibly dark inside, she couldn't avoid to open the curtains just enough for some light to come in.
But without much else to do, she finally made the bed quickly and headed back home,
wearing some old sweatpants and carrying the rest of her stuff in a plastic bag.

Unfortunately Allie had forgotten to close the curtains, and after a whole under the sun light, Ajay's potion had combusted, making the whole household burst in flames.
Allie couldn't know if Ajay was tramped inside the inferno or not, and she desperately tried to reach the door,
through the blinding and asphyxiating smoke,
only to be dragged out of danger by a familiar pair of hands, right before fainting due to lack of air.

"Hey, sweety, how are you feeling?" Allie woke up in the couch of a house she had never seen before, but the black eyes that stared a her were unmistakable.
"Nine!... What happened?"
"You almost got yourself killed, honey" He spoke explained, using a slightly patronizing tone.
"But Ajay! He was in the house! We have to save him!" Still disorientated, Allie tried to run to the street, but Nine quickly stopped her.
"There's nothing you can do. It's all over now" He said "There's nothing left, Allie"
"But Ajay! ... Ajay ... he ... he ..." She stammered heavily
"He's gone, Allie. Ajay's gone" He replied, holding her tightly
Allie sobbed for a while, but instead of calming down, her despair only seemed to increase until she ended up on the floor screaming.
"It's all my fault ... It's my fault!... It's my fault!"
Nine wasn't sure what she meant exactly, but knowing about the horrible accidents that had happened lately, he thought it was better to simply let her cry out all her pain until there were no more tears left.
"I can't escape from this, Nine, and you'll be next now..." She sobbed finally
"Don't be silly, honey" He said patiently " You're going through a very rough time, I know, but things can only get better, you'll see."
She nodded hesitantly, and wishing she could be as optimistic as he was.

"Good morning, sunshine, How are you feeling today?" Nine woke her tenderly
"Better" She answered softly, still half asleep
"That's my girl" He smiled widely "Are you hungry?"
Allie shook her head heavily in return.
"Let's go out for a walk then, shall we? You can wear one of my coats in the meant time..." He said enthusiastically, but as she answered shaking her head again, he insisted "Come on, sweety, a good walk early morning is always refreshing and invigorating. There's no point in staying here crying for the past."
Allie couldn't even find the strength to refute, and Nine's cheerful attitude always seemed to be so contagious, a walk didn't sound like a bad idea at the end.

Allie had lived in town long enough to know exactly where were they going, as soon as they made a turn in Tesla Court.
It was very appropriate, if not even obvious, to visit the crash site when walking about town, with a Pollination Technician, but as they faced the deep crater she couldn't avoid the feel apprehensive.
"Be careful, please ..."
"Don't you worry, honey, I come here every day." He said chuckling lightly "Join me, this is the best sit in the house"
She hesitated shortly, but eventually sat down on the edge by his side.
So they stay contemplating the breathtaking sight for a while, until the morning air, eventually recovered Allie's appetite and they stood up to head back for breakfast.
But unfortunately, as Allie turned around to walk down the hill, she didn't notice Nine slipping at her back, until a fearful scream got her attention.
She tried to reach out desperately, but for the sixth time in such a short time, Allie had been too late to save her friend,
and once again found herself staring hopelessly,
as death punished her taking one more life in front of her eyes.

"YOU PUSHED!!" Allie was abruptly taken out of her shock by a strange man screaming from the nearby house.
It was Nervous Subject.
"HE FELL!!" Annoyed, but more concerned about the accident than the zombie's senseless words, Allie ran towards Nervous hoping to use his phone to call emergencies.
It was extremely hard make him understand what had really happened,
so she decided to simply go in the house without even waiting for his approval,
but inside she only found a filthy phone set, connected to a dead line.
In matter of facts, everything inside the house seemed filthy, and the nauseating odor was so intense, it didn't even let her think straight.
"YOU PUSHED!!" He insisted after she hang up
"Shut up, Nervous" She muttered angrily trying to organize her thought, but the zombie only continued with his incoherent rambling, until Allie completely lost her tempter.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP!!" She yelled, jumping on him madly
"I didn't pushed him!! I'd never do something like that!!
"None of this was my fault!! IT WASN'T MY FAULT"
But , blinded by despair and pain, Allie didn't realize her hands were choking him, until the man laid in the floor unconscious.
"Shit... What did I do! Nervous!! Answer me, please, Nervous! ... NERVOUS!!"
"You're mean..." Nervous seemed to react suddenly and started sitting up slowly.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to ... I just ..." Allie was relived for him, but definitively all the accumulated emotions and the stench of the house were taking a toll out of her clarity.
She wished to run as far as possible from that terrible place, but wasn't sure what to do next either, and at that point just having a safe place to calm down first seemed the best alternative, so decided to stay at leasts for a while more, and hopefully find a room to rest shortly.
The bathroom in the first floor was even worse than the rest of the house,
but she managed to convinced Nervous to let her use one upstairs,
and fortunately, the second floor seemed a lot more habitable than the first.

Knowing that no one else, but Nervous, lived in the house, Allie didn't hesitate in taking a shower
and borrowing something to wear for a moment, but unfamiliar with the doors and hallways of the place,
she ended up in second terrace, while trying to find her way back downstairs.
She could see the whole town from there. That small town she had brought so much pain and lost to.
And that was when she took her last and final decision. She had to leave and never look back. Sell the house if possible, or just abandon it, if necessary, but she had to move as far away from the desert as possible, before anyone else would get hurt.
"NO!! NOT THAT!!!" Suddenly Nervous appeared at her back, rushing towards her "YOU NO TOUCH CIRCE'S THINGS!"
Allie turned around confused, but soon realized he was referring to the clothings she had on.
"TAKE IT OFF!" He insisted, getting increasingly violent.
"I'll bring it back... I just..." She tried to explained, but he wouldn't listen.
"NO! TAKE IT OFF NOW!"
"I have NOTHING else to wear now, Nervous!" Allie replied annoyed "I'll go back home, change and bring it back, OK!?"
"CIRCE WILL BE MAD!"
"CIRCE IS NOT HERE, NERVOUS"
Allie remembered very well what Loki had told her about his departed wife, and how Nervous seemed to struggle coping with her death, but for what she understood, it had happened long ago and she was dealing with more pressing problems at that moment.
"TAKE IT OFF OR I TAKE IT!" Nervous stepped forward threatening
"DON'T YOU TOUCH ME!" Allie shoved Nervous away in order to keep some distance, but, once again blinded by anger and frustration, she hadn't measured her reactions, accidentally pushing him over the edge of the terrace.
Everything happened so fast she didn't have time to react to reach him, and hopelessly witnessed how the innocent man fell several feet down, into the concrete floor.
Allie ran down the stairs as fast as she could,
and Nervous appeared to have no pulse whatsoever,
but before she could even grieve the lost of another friend, he surprised by returning to life ... again.
"YOU MEAN!! YOU PUSHED!" He complained, standing up.
"It was accident ... I'm so sorry!" She stammered ashamed "I don't know what came into me! I'm so tired I ... think I should better go home now"
"NO! You don't go!" Nervous said, holding her by one hand strongly "You stay here and rest!"
"Wait! Let me go!" She asked getting worried, as he pulled her indoor "Where are you taking me!?"
She tried to let loose without much success, until they entered what was probably the most disgusting area of the whole hose.
"Here! Me room. You rest here now." He continued, forcing her down the stairs
"NO! Nervous, I'm going back to my home now"
"THIS IS HOME. You stay right here now ... with me"
He reached for her face, and as Allie tried to step away, she tripped with the mattress on the floor, and ended up laying on her back, with Nervous leaning upon her.
"You pretty ... you stay with me now ..."
"NOOO!! PLEASE! LET ME GO! NOOOO!"

"Hey, baby, calm down. It's me, it's just me. Calm down"
"Lazlo??"
"Everything is ok" He smiled tenderly "It was just another nightmare..."
"Not another nightmare, Laz" She replied heavily "It's always the same nightmare! Over and over. I'm so tired..."
"I know you are, hun, but is Sunday today, and early still. Go back to sleep, now, I'll stay right here with you"
"Thank you" She said with a light smile "but don't think I can now..."
"I'm not letting you leave our bed" He said playfully, wrapping her on his arm, when she attempted to stand up
"No Laz, you don't get it" She explained softly "I can't get back to sleep. I think, is time"
"Time!? ...You mean ... now?"
"Yes... Right now..."

Nervous Subject was cured from zombiism, left the Beaker mansion, and restarted his life ... with much better company for himself
PT#9's rejuvenation treatment didn't last long, and is now back with his family, spending weekends at his older son's house, while waiting to be a grandfather soon.
Ajay Loner turned his way around, and his now studying the light instead of the darkness.
Vidcund Curious reconnected with an old acquaintance, and is now developing a strong relationship with her.
Loki Beaker lives alone, but spends the nights recovering his lost love for science.
P-bot is more than pleased helping raise his creator's alien spawn.
And Lazlo and Allie live happily ever after filling their home with PUPPIES (and babies)!

And finally my thoughts:
Yes, this was a very lame attempt at copycatting Cindy's Poison's Bend :P but always wanted to try a Black Widow challenge, and this was sort of a quick, easy way of doing something like it, plus I was craving to have a good excuse for excessive posing which is always a lot of fun for me to do. :)
Hope it didn't bother too much, but the quality on the images varied a lot from start to finish, because I've been struggling with my current video card which is a lot smaller than the one I used to have. Many times I had to turn off some effects in favor of others (like shadows and reflections), specially when working with sparkling Ajay. That's why his part was the shorter. (It's really frustrating because when playing the actual challenge I had ALL ON, 8 sims, a huge lot and everything ran smoothly, but now I had to turn almost everything off just to play a small lot with him on it... *sighs*)
JIC, by the end, Nervous is with Mathew Howe because some how they always get along great, but I never get to play with Strangetown townies since using the uber/mega hoods for my games, so this was a chance to do so. And Vidcund is with Crystal Vu because he always seems a lot more interested in her than Lazlo does, and because after reading akanwa's Vendetta I can't stop shipping them in my head :P
I'm thinking to do another bachelor's challenge but for Pascal this time, using only single maxis females from other hoods. It's very hard to find a good match for him, imo, so think it could be a fun way to try, but I'm NOT sure if I'll get to do it or not ... we'll see. :)

And finally my thoughts:
Yes, this was a very lame attempt at copycatting Cindy's Poison's Bend :P but always wanted to try a Black Widow challenge, and this was sort of a quick, easy way of doing something like it, plus I was craving to have a good excuse for excessive posing which is always a lot of fun for me to do. :)
Hope it didn't bother too much, but the quality on the images varied a lot from start to finish, because I've been struggling with my current video card which is a lot smaller than the one I used to have. Many times I had to turn off some effects in favor of others (like shadows and reflections), specially when working with sparkling Ajay. That's why his part was the shorter. (It's really frustrating because when playing the actual challenge I had ALL ON, 8 sims, a huge lot and everything ran smoothly, but now I had to turn almost everything off just to play a small lot with him on it... *sighs*)
JIC, by the end, Nervous is with Mathew Howe because some how they always get along great, but I never get to play with Strangetown townies since using the uber/mega hoods for my games, so this was a chance to do so. And Vidcund is with Crystal Vu because he always seems a lot more interested in her than Lazlo does, and because after reading akanwa's Vendetta I can't stop shipping them in my head :P
I'm thinking to do another bachelor's challenge but for Pascal this time, using only single maxis females from other hoods. It's very hard to find a good match for him, imo, so think it could be a fun way to try, but I'm NOT sure if I'll get to do it or not ... we'll see. :)
